Hi, I’m Kashima (Cash-ee-ma) I'm a UK-based travel creator with a background in creative arts.

My love for travel started in 2016, fresh out of my fashion degree, when I booked a one-way ticket to Thailand for a month. That trip changed everything. Since then, I've explored another 19 countries and I am well and truly hooked.

I now work as a freelance travel creator, sharing stunning hotels & properties, fun experiences, and the restaurants that are actually worth visiting.

I'm open, honest, and value my time, so that's exactly what you'll get from me. I'll only ever recommend places I genuinely love and think are worth a visit.

A few more things about me:

I'm both a huge empath and strong willed, which I get from my mum, who is an incredibly talented potter and artist and my biggest inspiration.

I'm a huge animal lover and absolutely adore cats. I used to ride horses, sing in a choir (these days it's mostly in the shower) and I've trained Muay Thai and Boxing for over three years, which I document over at @muaythaiwithkashima. I was also a personal trainer for six years!

Film is a big passion of mine, my favourite genres are zombie films (World War Z, The Walking Dead, I Am Legend, Train to Busan), end of the world thrillers, and, at the opposite end of the spectrum, a really good rom-com, who doesn't love a love story?

Food is the way to my heart, my favourites have to be: Smash burgers loaded with pickles, wood-fired Italian pizza with lots of cheese, decadent chocolate covered dates, rich tiramisu (especially the pistachio one from East Mamma in Paris), and Thai food, chicken cashew nut and red thai curry in particular.
